The class of 1974 went through some crazy stuff! Broke the dress code (1969-70) that girls could wear pants and everyone could wear shorts (got sent home a couple of times myself, then busing was implemented and was that a crazy first year! I think EVERYONE was a little freaked out! I also remember a teachers strike that we didn't know about or didn't happen until after we got to school -- really weird going to class and no teacher- very crazy day! I think that by our Junior year everything had pretty well settled down into a "norm". Made some great friends and had a pretty good time during most of it but I transferred to Tech HS the 2nd semester of my senior year when I got my schedule and had 4 study halls that I could not get out of (I had 28 of the 32 credits needed to grad).
